Adviser Agent — support and help

Adviser Agent is C8's AI investment research assistant for financial advisers. This page covers what it does, how to get started, and how to reach us.

What the agent does

Searches and ranks investment products: ETFs, equities, bonds, funds and model portfolios.
Returns performance and risk analytics for any instrument.
Surfaces C8's current top picks, top buys and market insights.
Analyses or rebalances a portfolio you describe in the chat.

It is research and analytics only. It does not execute trades and does not give personal financial advice.

Getting started

In Microsoft 365 Copilot or Microsoft Teams, open Apps, search for Adviser Agent and choose Add. If your organisation restricts new apps, your IT administrator can deploy it from the Microsoft 365 admin center under Settings → Integrated apps.
Ask your first question, for example “What are C8's top picks to add to a 60/40 portfolio?”
Type help at any time for the full list of things the agent can do.

In Claude and ChatGPT

Subscribe — US$99 per user per month after a 30-day free trial; cancel any time: start your Adviser Agent trial. Use the email address you will sign in with.
Claude: open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste https://api.c8-technologies.com/adviser/mcp.
ChatGPT: add the same address as a custom connector under Settings → Apps & Connectors (your ChatGPT plan must allow custom connectors).
Sign in with your email and the one-time code we send you, then ask, for example “What are C8's top picks to add to a 60/40 portfolio?”.

The address is the same for every customer and is not a secret; there is no key to copy.

What you need

This app requires an active subscription. Please reach out to your administrator to get a subscription. For more information, contact our support team at the address below.

Common questions

Answers look out of date. Start a new conversation. Assistants can reuse figures from earlier in a long chat, and a fresh conversation forces the agent to fetch current data.

The app is not in our Teams or Copilot app list. Your tenant may restrict new apps. Ask your IT administrator to deploy it from Integrated apps in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
